OT: COL. PARKER- Rock n Roll Music (slim jim phantom, gilby clarke, stones like rock)

this album was released in 2001 but i just got it. anyone interested in stonesy swagger in their rock mixed with some faces and early solo rod stewart needs to pick this album up now. this thing is amazing.
it is a supergroup of sorts. it features gilby clarke, guns n roses guitar player from 1991-1994, on guitar and lead vocals. slim jim phantom from the stray cats is on the drums and backing vocals. teddy "zigzag"andreadis on piano, harmonica and backing vocals. teddy has worked with carole king, chuck berry, bo diddley and alice cooper to name a few. the lineup is rounded out by mark "muddy" dutton on bass and lead vocals and mark is the current bass player for chris robinsons brotherhood. guitar legend jeff "skunk" baxter, sunset strip guitar legend tracii guns and former guns n roses backup singer roberta freeman all make guest appearances.
i can't upload anything from youtube right now but check out the songs "can't get that stuff", "pills", "mother mary's son" and the cover of "mercedes benz". again very stones like. a lot like izzy stradlins solo stuff.

Gilby is a good guitarist and a good author. It is a very good album
