I agree the drawings are great! Makes you realize that some of his more abstract paintings are very intentional since he can obviously draw do well.
If I were you I'd contact Genesis Books via e-mail ( info@genesis-publications.com ) to have this situation clarified.

Are the diary entries scans of the diary or is the text just printed as per usual books?
They are scans of his original diaary. He has some commentaries/text of hi own printed sometimes next to it. there are some early pictures, drwaings and you can get a download of a song, how can it be.
Really worth a buy.

It seems that only the deluxe edition (priced £495) is available. I wonder if the "collector edition" isn't yet available for pre-order or if it has been sold out.

I don't think they are doing "collectors" editions for this release. If you read the description, it says the first 300 copies are deluxe, signed, and your name is listed in the back of the book. There are 1,965 copies. So the first 300 being deluxe... after that, the probably just normal... but this isn't how Genesis usually markets their books. I own four of their books. Good quality... pricey. And I went off them when they shafted me on the Station to Station book. This does look like a nice release though.

Ok, that makes sense. Looks like they will go until all the deluxe are sold then open the collectors to be sold. And it doesn't say how much the Collectors will be sold for.

Ronnie always does a nice interview. Also a nice 40 second video clip as well.
Talking about the places in London reminds me of my younger days when was up there on a lot of Saturdays in the mid to late 60's. All to do with schoolwork, getting brochures and stuff from places for geography class. Us kids had a great time up there in central London, and I remember going past some of these places like The Marquee Club,100 Club etc. around Soho,Piccadilly,Leicester Square area.
So wish I had taken more interest in the music and entertainment things up there at the time,instead of most of time spent on schoolwork stuff.
It was a great place to be at that time, as Ronnie well knows.

My Daughter has ordered the deluxe book for me but was unable of the list of name page, I wonder if they will just put her name on from the order as they did not ask what name was wanted ?
