Solo starts 5.15 mins into it

Yeah I went through an appreciation of Mr. Jorgensons telecaster work too! Met the guy at one of our gigs once in LA and spoke guitar stuff with him for about 30 minutes, he had a great approach to open strings, movement within a solo and some other stuff which has stuck with me to this day. Thanks John.

Sloooow build up to about the 3:45 minute mark, then Pete taps into the other worldly. Superlatives fail....how profoundly do you have to suffer to play like this? Powerful and scary....

thumbs up Great one indeed. Also always loved the short but sweet second one by Jeff Skunk Baxter on My Old School. Those harmonics were well done!

Check The video I posted in one of my earlier posts in the thread. A lot of beauty coming from great suffering as well for that man - I read his bio. Another troubled gifted soul.

Yes, and Rikki Don't Lose That Number. So odd, and yet so apt, that there are so many tasty guitar solos on records masterminded by a couple of jazz-minded yacht rockers.
