SiriusXm Radio- why no Stones channel?

I saw another thread last year about the stones being on SiriusXm radio for a short while basically promoting Bigger Bang . . . I recently bought a car and got a 3 month free trial of Xm radio and I'm loving it! Its so much fun!
There are more than 20 stations devoted to rock music. Some of it is not my taste but alot of it is great. The only "bands" that presently have channels are Elvis, Bruce, Pearl Jam, Grateful Dead, and Jimmy Buffet as well as Sinatra and BB King.
Just wondering why there isn't presently a Stones station, it would be fantastic if done right. Any insights???

Several years back, during ABB tour, Sirius HAD a 'Stones channel. None the last few years. I believe it was around the time of the satellite radio launch and before the merger with XM.

Because the Stones only have 12-15 songs that anyone knows.

Jimmy Buffett's RadioMargaritaville plays more than just his music.
Perhaps the Stones channel just got...old. Maybe the programmers had enough. It's probably that the Stones really just don't care. Having a channel for promotion (not really sure what kind or why since one has to pay to have satellite radio to begin with) is probably what they're more interested in since they get enough playage from various FM radio stations of the same 5 songs.

Because anyone that remotely cares already has ALL the albums, and we can create our own 'stones-only' playlists any time we want.

When they did have the channel, they played lots of stuff, even deep cuts.

Agreed 24FPS, it was a good listen particularly on the road-trips. Sirius has added and deleted a few "group/band" dedicated channels over the years....The Boss and Jimmy buffet have stuck around for quite some time. Maybe a 50th Anniversary channel?
