The Rolling Stones - Donmar Reahearsal Theatre - Convert Gardens 1963 ----- Terry O'neill

Oooow yeah that lead off shot by Edith takes some beating that's for sure
but this one from '63 says so much ........loaded with charactor ....Brian out front...
Leather coat ...white case...boot striding ... Bill hunched...leather glove..bag ..coat....looking cold...

The trailing core of the group even still today .... Mick's mouth & hair....bag...
Keith's innocence........scarf..........Charlie neat and in step with Mick.....

And then the market workers... the crates.... the wagon ...wheels.....debris...stains...Donmar sign....brickwork....

Amazing shot.... Thank You so much Terry O'Neill.........

Great to see that most of the people here consider a RS group photo with Bill Wyman.

Here´s one of mine:

Wow, love it! Bill looks very cool (& youthful here), & Charlie looked so much better in 1986 than he did in 1989 (around the time of Steel Wheels he looked very underweight & frail).

That photo you posted there, Rockman, sure is amazing - never seen it before; gives impression of a completely different world and time than as of now....early 1900s or so. Thanks

In 1965 there are hundreds of excellent colour-photos taken on the band...

Always very good...

now look carefully at all those 60s and 70s shots and notice how mick is roughly the same height as the rest of the band and then suddenly in the 80s he is much taller, and these days forget about it mick towers over all of them, just curious

Proof Mick is definitely shorter than the others.

Any idea when this was taken exactly? Before or after Rock & Roll Circus?

Amazing indeed! thumbs up

Another question: what was the last group photograph to feature Brian?

Here's another couple of lovely shots with Brian. The top one I believe is from New York 66 while the bottom one is in Covent Garden 1963.

May 21, 1969, a couple weeks before Brian was fired. This is certainly one of the last photos of the five original Stones.

I think the one posted by NICOS:

Is one of the very last of all five.

That really does not look like Ronnie to me. Looks more like a double shot of Keith.

What do ya'll think ?

No, this photo along with a good amount of others was taken towards the end of 1967.

For some reason in a few books over the years shots from this session get labelled with being some of the last ones taken of Brian with the band.

Oh, I didn't know that, 67'? It makes sense with them not having hair that long, my bad.
