its been a while now since scarf me up. looking back now . accident or intentional.
personally i think the first time was a genuine mistake caused by the scarf. but as for the second time, was it sheer defiance and devilment lol
maybe all the fuss over it pissed Keith off. so ok right i'm doing it again for the hell of it. that's Keith. i doubt many of the fans noticed that much in all the excitement.
sorry if this has been discussed recently. does anyone know if Keith ever made a remark about it afterwards..

thats was a good idea. so it kind of makes it ok. it was a recording of that night sort of thing. i would love to know why he did it. maybe i will bump into keith some day. say hey keith what you doin man lol.

There's a song I play in my band where I do the intro. I used to play it perfectly every night. However, once during practice I messed it up we all laughed about it. Now, whenever I play it the drummer gives me a look and a smile and I know I'm going to miss it every time. It's obviously a mental block because I always got it right before that happened and, although we all laugh about it, it's put a lot of pressure on me to get it right that wasn't there before. Now maybe the intro to start me up is as simple as it gets, but I bet the same thing happened with Keith. However, at least he's managed to sort it out since!

its weird how often Keith has played BS SMU IORR SATISFACTION JJF but every now and then he messes up, like some nights on this tour and then he's fine. takes a strong mind to not shatter his confidence. like you say it must just be a mental block
