Me too. I admit was a bit dissapointed.
It is at that. I forgot about it until now. It got some good airplay back then and I loved cranking it.
"Scenery" ain't bad either. The 1995 live versions which often lasted 18 minutes were a bit sterile but the studio cut is one of "Mirror Ball"'s gems (imo).

Great song almost never mentioned from Neil's 1995 album, "Mirrorball" with Pearl Jam (sans Eddie Vedder for most of the album).
Anyone else fancy this song?

Yeh - love this one. Really like that riff they go into after the chorus a couple of times. Verging on AC/DC (which is no bad thing).

MIRROR BALL fans should not overlook the ep MERKIN BALL -- it's from the MIRROR BALL sessions, Neil w/Pearl Jam, but has Vedder on vocals.

I too love Mirrorball, although Downtown was never one of my favourite tracks.
