I think it would be very nice if they released a concert from any of these tours of the mid sixties. There are some radiobroadcasts existing from Paris, Honolulu and Melbourne. Pretty good soundquality. And great versions of Paint It Black, Satisfaction, Get off Of My Cloud, Lady Jane and Goin Home
But do they own the rights to the recordings? Are the original recordingsources still existing?
Got Live If You Want It (the album) is just horrible.....and absolutely not representative
I'd buy it. But as you say, I'd guess that neither they nor ABKCO own the rights to the radio broadcasts (like the BBC probably own all the early Beeb stuff, and even rebroadcast the odd song once in a blue moon), and although there are bootlegs of these shows that are a fun listen, the sound quality is usually pretty rough.
ABKCO and Stones do coorporate, so anything is possible. We got "Live In England 1965", which is available on any digital platform like Spotify and iTunes. The psysical version is available on the Charlie Is My Darling boxed set.
I'd say there are chances, but they are pretty slim, since the recording quality is quite bad. It's more likely they will release the BBC recordings.
