I work as well--at home and at my computer, so IORR is an occupational hazard. I should say that I work in between logging on and off IORR. There was a study done recently about work efficiency, measuring how long it took to perform particular tasks while working at a computer and determining how much longer a given task would take with online distractions, such as e-mails, blogs, and so on. This post is one such distraction. Now, back to work....

Work in accounting/finance doing excel, numbers. At night at manage 7 computer baseball teams at a time: the 2005-2011 Philadelphia Phillies. Play the piano, write songs, independent films on weekends. Sometimes I go to non stones shows like Billy Joel and Fleetwood Mac.

I find a lot of time that work gets in the way of posting. At times like that I find I just need to close my office door so that I'm not disturbed.
That way I can focus on the job at hand, which is to reply to posts, find new threads to post on, sometimes start new threads and very occasionally fan flame wars. No, the last one is not true.
