Hello all. As this is a most informative board for several topics, I wanted to know if anyone had any advice or recommendations of independent bookstores and music stores in Manhattan?
I am visiting in April and have been scouting things to see. Among the music related sites, I am going to see some of the beatnik clubs in Greenwich Village, Brill Building, Atlantic's former studios, and of course the row houses on St. Mark's Place that form the album cover for Physical Graffiti and the location for the Waiting on a Friend video. Are there any other suggestions in Manhattan? Thanks for the suggestions!
