"The song Dead Flowers, which was written by Jagger/Richards about Gram getting dead flowers delivered to him from someone in the States while he was in England. Jagger and Richards were supposedly there when it happened"

Considering that there's no pedal steel on the entire Sticky Fingers record and that Gram didn't (couldn't) play a pedal steel, I can't imagine it's much of a discussion. confused smiley

Wasn't that steel guitar debate (not pedal steel) about an early take of WH back in the day? Supposedly, Gram's guitar player, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, played that part.

Might have been another discussion, though smiling smiley
