The word among collectors was it's as good as the PPV. I first got a so-so aud recording that left me cold but thx to the WV soundboard one realizes it's a fantastic show. JMImagiantion in particular is wonderful!.
Was this (the 19th) available in part or whole under any other name, official or unofficial? I thought I pretty much had the best soundboards from that tour.
This show could have my fav ever live performance of Beast of Burden. Great work from Woody and Mick's delivery throughout the song is fantastic. And the more I listen to this performance (and this tour in general) the more I love Ernie Watts' sax playing. Some really beautiful melodies that are reminiscent of Mick Taylor, in terms of melodic fluidness. Also, this show really makes me yearn for the days when the Stones would just jam live, and kinda just feel out where the song was going. When not literally every aspect of the show was so choreographed. The improvisation made for some truly awesome, unexpected moments.
