Hi, composing a truly Alternate/different take CD of OFFICIAL tracks only
Here they are, I've not put any remixes in
Can you think of any more?
What about some nice artwork ideas?
Cheers

I like that you have "Beast of Burden" on it from the 8-Track and the extended "Miss You." I think you should also add the alternate version of "Jumping Jack Flash."
I would love a copy of this, since there are many on there I don't have.
There's an incredible different take of Honky Tonk Women with different vocal. That should definitely go on it..perhaps instead of the live version with Sailor verse.
You're also missing some pretty amazing outtakes from Exile like the Shine A Light version and different Hip Shake.
Vocalion: The reason for the disc is to hear different versions of (in some cases) very well known Rolling Stones tracks - it would be composed chronologically and not alphabetically to give it a more coherent feel
Karla: Unfortunately there are a lot of official tracks here, but good idea having the alternate JJF - where would that come from?
stones78: Has it ever been proven who plays guitar on the extended 2120 version - doubt it's Muddy Waters though, even though it was recorded at Chess studios. Rumour has it that the original track was shortened in length because it was on an EP or because of 'Muddy's' contractual problems, who knows?
ghostryder 13: Artwork would be nice if it portrayed a 'flip side/alternate theme' maybe positive and negative images, don't want to get into More Hot Rocks territory though - just any ideas would be great
Silverdagger: The version I have used is studio version - sailor version!
PS: Compiling this compilation has been great - even if it is just finding out that Fortune Teller without the harmonica is on the original More Hot Rocks, but has been replaced with the harmonica version on the later SACD versions!
