Umm...what the?

Has anyone seen this? How did this crappy reality show score Dylan? What's the story here...was it pure luck that Dylan walked by this idiot and his camera crew and gave an autograph? The fact that there were these guys milling around Bob's tour bus, I would've assumed Bob and his security would have immediately asked them to leave.

It's all very, very weird.

This show is a runaway hit on US tv .

Dylan knows where his bread is buttered .

Hardly watch TV so I wouldn't how much of a hit the show. I hate how the show doesn't play up how much this is actually A BIG DEAL. This idiot got to meet Dylan and score an autograph. They make it seem like it's no big deal.

Regardless, Dylan's intense hesitation to giving an autograph seems genuine...

Big mistake getting any autograph is getting it personalized. It ain't worth crap if you do that.

Yeah, it is worth a lot to the person who got it. Great memories and you don't need to sell it to get a lot from it.

How old is that clip? Is it new (this year or last?)

Pawn Stars is oddly addicting. The idiot and the boy have to make up for buying an original signed contract for The Who to play Woodstock in mint condition this fellow's mom just happened to find in an album. But he couldn't wait around for them to 'verify' it. Needed that $250 in a hurry. Can't imagine why?

I sat 3 seats away from Dylan on an overnight flight - AA767 (From Sao Paulo, Brazil to Dallas in 1998) in economy class even and didn't get sh*t, no autograph, no nothing (except for the Sao Paulo news paper he poured over with his assistant for 15 minutes. It was full of color pictures of him on stage with the Stones live in Rio the night before, I did get that - it's somewhere around here). I blame it on the sleeping pills and alcohol, didn't wanna bug him and was too buzzed to make any kind of plan. He doesn't like to be bugged, you can FEEL it. My GF went over to talk to him but he gave her the "don't talk to me" stare. The room gets very strange when Bob's present, Dylan vibes flying back and forth..... I'm still trying to figure out how I should have handled the whole situation, way over 10 years later (what a mess)....

Yeah you should have sung an old standard! And then just shook his hand and say thanks. And then go back and sit down and see if he grins.

I know people that have jammed with him, hung out with him, gotten drunk in a bar with him, and they all say the same thing: He's pretty much a normal, regular guy.
But, they tell me, if somebody wants something from him or starts the "Hey, man, I gotta tell you" nonsense, that's when that wall goes up.
And after being a celebrity of Dylan's type for almost 50 years, he can probably spot those people a mile away.

Yeah tomk, the man was dressed SO normal (and pretty small, older looking), I wanna say Levi Docker slacks almost, did a quick scan of the cabin. Saw me see him and I knew he knew I knew and that's when he sat on the far side (away from me) of the center section. It's ALL so subtle, so low key. If you didn't know you would never notice anything - there's this whole thing going on....

Bob's "acting" is actually cool, he makes it look casual, but it could not be a more un-casual situation in fact. They could have at least pick up some guy who doesn't look like McDonald's is his permanent home.

He would probably take a perverse pleasure in signing that one. Anyone can shove a copy of Highway 61 under his nose. Only a true connoisseur, and someone with an ironic sense of humor, would ask him to sign "Dylan". Either that, or you'd have to be totally clueless, to choose that album.
