Charlie Watts in Barcelona

Tuesday april 5th. Luz de Gas. Is a nice, small and fashionable theater / disco.

21h. No more than 300 people. Expensive tickets can sit on chairs in front of the satge. The rest of us have to stand way back. Just after Axel Zwingenberge beggins to play everybody can sit in the chairs.

Charlie appears after Axel and Ben together with bass player. He looks great, relaxed, smiling and enjoying himself. It's sad but I think that 3 nights on a row in Barcelona is too much specially considering that yesterday night (april 6) Barça (Barcelona soccer team) was playing Champions League in the stadium. I guess that the attendance was even worse. I'll repeat again tonight.

I saw Keith in Barcelona withh the Xpensive Winos, Bill with the Rythmin Kings and now Charlie with the ABCD project and I have to tell you that all of them looked really relaxed and enjoying themselves and the music was great ! The only Stone that dissapoints me in his solo career is Mick even though I never seen him live.

Some local promoter claimed that Watts will also play Bilbao, but unfortunately don't see it happening. Enjoy tonight's show on my behalf!

The show reminded me Ian Stewart all the time. I am sure that he's having fun up there watching Charlie and his mates playing Boogie Woogie !

Charlie somrient, i si Charlie somriu...tot va bé.
LLàstima de la poca assistència de públic.

Stones CAT said (in catalan) that maybe the price didn't hel people going to see Charlie. I disagree. I am sick and tired of people complaining on music prices. CDs are too expensive we better download free music, concerts are expensive we better stay home and wait for the free youtube version, etc ... They are killing music !

This is the same people that waste its money in silly things such as clothes, watches and GinTonics.

Please protect musicians !

CATALAN VERSION
