Ummm no its not. Its to figurative, to artsy; if the protagonist wants to make pretend he is the devil, thats great, its entertaining, its theater, but does nothing for me on a personal level . . .

neil slaved over that for a fortnight, i understand. at one point there was a side salad and corn muffins. dessert was considered for a bit as well. i think he was right to pare it down.
