Best 'Exile' Outtakes
Date: June 26, 2014 21:23

Hey everyone! I'm working on compiling some CDs with the best Exile outtakes and wanted your opinions on some of the best outtakes/demos, and figured you guys/girls would know some of the best ones. I'm trying to avoid the ones released on the 2010 Bonus disc. Thanks in advance for any help!

By the way-so far I have 'Exile On Main St. Blues' (1:23), 'Hillside Blues' (11:16), & 'Ain't Gonna Lie In The South of France' (1:23).

The best Exile outtakes besides the Montreux rehearsal songs, not jams, are the instrumental outtakes with Nicky which include stuff like Rip This Joint with a SEARING slide from Mick Taylor.

We all have already the acoustic version with good sound, it would bring nothing new, like Good Time Women...
An unheard electric alternate version superior to the acoustic one has been released btw.
The Exile Deluxe is excellent.

Of course, this a draft with raw guitars and vocals, but everything is already there. That's what I like on it.
The acoustic is a bit monotonous.
