OT: Dave And Phil Alvin

Anyone that wants to see a kickass show on a small budget check out DAve And Phil Alvin with The Guilty Ones this summer.They stopped their arguing long enough to put out a cd "Common Ground" (recordings of Big Bill Broonzy) which debuted on the Billboard Blues Chart at #1 and I promise they will satisfy..

Used to see The Blasters play just about every year. They always tore up the stage with blistering Rock & Roll.> grinning smiley

Dave is a great artist. Saw him only once .. Blasters was a very important band

got your tkts,Dillard?? I got mine for dallas!! Yeah, Phil is sounding better than ever...and Dave is one classy gent.I won't go into details but a conversation I had with him in 2008 kept me from making a terrible,grief caused decision....
