i hear you. there's differently a better vibe going at younger bands' shows i've been to in recent years. i used to think there was nothing like the buzz associated with a stones show...i've learned that's just not true....there are great buzzes wherever there's great music with (typically) younger fans....

I love the intense excitement of waiting for them to come on stage...the first show of the tour, sitting in my seat ( hopefully a great seat!), the lights are down, I can see movement back stage and them POW!! That opening chord! Does it get any better than that??? NOPE!

Unfortunately, I don't have to many good memories of stones shows in the last ten years. I think the audience is to old for a proper rock show. There are to many "meat heads" associated with a stones show, and the band plays the same songs every night.
I had better times at stones shows back in the 90's, maybe because I was younger . . .
