Stones Best Video Single

I like a few of them but I have to go with this one being their best. It's hilarious - they're not even bothering to act like they're miming to the guitar tracks... and Mick is a riot.

Another hilarious one is Hey Negrita smiling smiley

Kind of like 'Start Me Up' in that it's so absolutely bad, it's actually good.

Like the movie "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes".

For me, going with actual 'best' videos, I'd go with JJF, or SSC, or UOTN.

Those three are excellent. Child of the Moon as well.

I like She Was Hot, Almost Hear You Sigh and Highwire.

Love Is Strong is cool as well.

The Emotional Rescue promo is fun to watch. Interspersed with Mick's freeze-frame pucker poses, Charlie is at his jazz-cool-posing best.

That was a great video! I think I'd only ever scene the one shot in that thermo-visual mode...kind of unwatchable.

Thanks for pulling that out!

I like this one best. Original line-up, looking and sounding downright menacing.

She's So Cold - purely for the fact Mick, Keith & Ronnie look as cool as the ice box they're in!

Was 'Waiting on a Friend' a video single? I like that one a lot. I dunno if it's the best, though.

From a plot perspective, I like how it proceeds. Focuses on Mick and Keith initially till they meet up. Then it concludes at a bar somewhere with the whole band and only then start to play.

Mick kind of reminds me of Danny Elfman when he was younger in the Neighbors video.

WOAF is probably my favorite.

While JJF is clearly the best, I've always loved She's So Cold!

The shred of Waiting On A Friend is hilarious. While it's been posted here before, it has disappeared from YouTube, but fortunately is still available via Rutube at: [rutube.ru]

The last 60 seconds of this video has just about every 'moves like Jagger' that he's ever done. My favourite...

The JJF video is awesome, probably their best. Waiting On A Friend is pretty good too. I think Neighbours is a great video not only because it's funny but it's a great example of the rowdiness of the Stones.

How many do they have? They did all those (horrible!) videos in the 1970s in a mostly mindless manner - 2 videos for Angie; Silver Train, Fool To Cry, Respectable, Ain't Too Proud To Beg (HORRIBLE!), Hot Stuff (absolutely mindless!), Faraway Eyes, Hey Negrita, Crazy Mama (what drugs was Mick taking on that day?!), Till The Next Goodbye (Mick's leery smile singing into his camera is hilarious), the awful Miss You.

Seems that with UOTN they decided to get serious and since then the videos have been, let's say, "better" ie not the horrible yet hilarious miming, than anything they did in the 1970s and early 80s - although Don't Stop is pathetic.

I agree with SHE'S SO COLD, where Mick acts like a bratty little kid running everywhere and pulling faces. I love that. Incidentally, when I was what I thought was a fairly limber 15-year-old I tried to mimic Mick at the end lying on the floor with his legs folded under him. I couldn't manage it without effort. Mick was doing it effortlessly in early middle-age. Limber dude.

Does Mick have a cold sore on his upper lip in that video?

Anybody Seen My Baby?

I really like the video especially with Keith playing up on the gargoyle looking thing.

I happen to really like the song, to me it'sone of their best of the last 20 years.

The live version was great as well.

The Stones don't really have good video clips, but I like Love Is Strong, Anybody Seen My Baby and Doom and Gloom - the lyrics video - that one matches really great with the music.
