I just spent a few minutes looking for a pic of Ed Sullivan together with the Stones, but could not find one.
Plenty of pics of Sullivan with the Beatles & others, but no Stones.
I wonder what's up with that ?

I was beginning to think that Sullivan didn't have enough regard for the Stones to be pictured with him.

Ed Sullivan would not allow the Stones appear on his show in 1964, and so they were forced to appear on Hollywood Palladium with Dean Martin instead . . a complete fiasco for the group.

I don't think he was a big fan....I remember The Rolling Stones were considered pretty SCARY in the USA back in the early sixties when they first came over,..of course us teens at the time just were in AWE!... it's kind of ironic when thinking about it how they have become so mainstream now...I mean they were REALLY baaaaaad to the bone..very exciting at the time!
