OT: Your top ten movies
Posted by: rollmops ()

I recently decide to subscribe to NetFlix because I don't like to go to the movies anymore; too much @#$%& commercials prior to the film and the sound is generally unneccessary loud. I don't mind loud music at a rock and roll show though...
I am curious what are your favorites movies. I want to make a list to use when I decide to place an order to Netflix. I know there are lists of best movies but lot of you Stonesfans here have great tastes and insights. So gimme your list! Thank you
Rock and roll,
Mops

My informal list - subject to change is:

Jaws (#1 definitely)
Good Fellas
Braveheart
Team America
Young Frankenstein
Pride & Prejudice (Colin Firth version)
American Dreamer (total chick flick, but I'm allowed!)
Boondock Saints
Tommy Boy - makes me laugh every single time
that's all i can think of right now.

It doesn't matter old or new as long as there are very good movies to you.

Everyone's a critic!

But at least I was honest and didn't throw out Kurasowa etc to to sound smart and artsy.

I eagerly await your response of how difficult it would be for me to sound smart.

I'm intrigued. Perhaps I'll have to Netflix this one myself.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

not to spoil the plot - but i guarantee you it's the best movie about a guy getting baked in an oven and served for dinner that you'll ever see
