Yes. It's unwatchable.

It's not as funny as the shred for Waiting On A Friend. This one's pretty good as well--The Rolling Stones recite Shakespeare in the studio.

That's why I like it. Also the Worried About You video. They make me laugh, but in a good way.

Embarrasing? It's ROCK N ROLL MAN! At least they cut their hair once in a while....

Ironically, the lip sync is better on this one than the actual video.

I have seen it many...many times, but it always makes me laugh just like the very first time. There are other StS videos of other bands, but I didn't find them funny at all. This one is probably the best parody I have ever seen though.

I played it a couple times. Is there something different I'm not catching because I have this video from a VHS recording when it came out and I see no deference.Is it sound because I lost that on this computer.Again if there is another please post it.

Ahhh...the Start Me Up video. I remember when I was a kid and this video would come on Mtv and I would think "Who are these old guys and why would anybody enjoy this?!?" I love the corniness of the video now. Classic.

I doubt that this was run on MTV, I would not compare it with the Worried About You video, I don't think that the point is that they did the video in 1 or 2 takes or that they cut their hair...If you don't understand my comment, please push the PLAY button on the video in the original post. After that I doubt that you will find it "embarassing"

In fact I have a feeling that it is pretty much the same with all threads - that people post they reply based on reading the thread title without bothering to pay attention to the first (or any other) post and this only proves it nicely.

And it is not only the singing, even all the instruments "lip sync" perfectly. I mean that they always seem to play what you actually see in the video. As I wrote above, I have seen it many times and I always had a great laugh, but I also always think about how well and carefully is this sloppy thing done, with big attention to detail. That is what it makes it so brilliant.

Yeah, really funny. People here feel the need to comment something they haven't seen and, MOST IMPORTANT IN THIS CASE, haven't HEARD. Yes fellows, you need to listen to it. Then you'll realize why it is a different version. Have fun.
