A great bass player and good friend and former bandmate of mine, Roger "Tiny Basser" Kohrs, has been playing the past few years with a rockabilly artist out of North Carolina, by the name of Unknown Hinson.

It's an act, of course......basically, a country and western vampire (I know, that same old tired idea again, right?) He is also a great entertainer and guitarist, and, if he ever comes to your town, you should go check him out.'

This guy is great - lots of fun.

One of the guys in my band...well actually I suppose I'm in HIS band....but anyway....he showed me some Unknown Hinson youtube vids........I had a chance to see him last Sept. but chose the Drive By Truckers instead. Anyway, my buddy thinks that Hinson's act is real. Claims it's so far out there that it can't be fake....


I don't believe that, but he says he does.

Love this guy! He has some really killer sounds. his signature guitar is really cool
