Not bad at all. Maybe the most true to the original-version I've ever heard guitar-wise.

That's what I thought too. Good guitar work.

Never been a big fan of the "Oasis Brothers" ...but you can hear the love for the original.

I think I'm warming to them winking smiley

Just love that voice. The greatest stage presence from someone that doesn't barely move an inch

Can't stand Liam these days, but it's a good rendition.

However, the reasons for this are the drum fills and guitar work, not Liam's crap singing.

The music is great, the vocals don't spin my wheels.

The guitarist played the original almost note for note. Good work. The singing tone I could do without.

Here's a version with spirited vocals and Slash soloing away. Him being a fan of Mick Taylor means he's probably heard Brussels '73. Though the guitarist on the bottom does the final Taylor '72/'73 style crescending solo at the end.

cool that the guitarist played the brief harp solo from the original..

but they conspicuously omitted the Merry Clayton part ...

Liam's vocals are a little shot these days, though Gem Archer (guitarist) and the rhythm section have a good stab at recreating the menacing vibe of the Stones original.

A very good version I would not have expected.

I like it too. I've always liked Liam's voice, although I agree he blew his voice out years ago, but it's still got a nice sound to it.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

His voice sounds great on the recent album, but live I'd agree it can be hit or miss.

Wish they would've done Street Fighting Man live back in the Days, could've done it live on the South American Tour in 98. Gem and Andy are the new Keith and Ronnie weaving-wise!

I was just listening the first Oasis album yesterday. Still a favorite. Thought the 2nd album was ok too but those guys turned out to be a disappointment ultimately. It's too bad. "Live Forever" & "Supersonic" still sound great. One of those cases when the money started coming in, things went downhill fast. Happens to the best of them.

Well you should give their last 2 albums a spin.
They're quite good.

Will do. Thanks. The latter stuff didn't get a real lot of exposure in the States.

Cool version, I like the vocals but realize Liam ain't everyone's cup of tea. Should be good Live though, seeing them next week at Hammersmith.

Liam said "Beady Eye" was so he'd be alphabetically next to the "Beatles" in CD bins. He got sick of "Oasis" being next to the "Osmonds."

They copy the lead guitars on the Stones original very accurately, which is a bit impressive. Liam's voice is alright, but I don't think it fits this song.

Oasis covered Street Fighting Man, I never listened to it, but I'm guessing that's a better song for Liam to sing.
