Not really. He needs to fool around with someone, and he hate Keith and Charlie is behind the drum set so he's limited. It makes sense, its just sad that he doesn't like to involve Keith. Then again, I guess they never really did "fool around" that much on stage. Keith always seemed pretty serious focusing on the guitar.Quote

Oh, come on, he doesn't "hate" Keith. Let's not get carried away.

True, but its not totally inaccurate. Its honestly just the easiest way to describe their relationship at this point.
The Stones' "bromances" are quite something. They are multiple and could be an interesting thread subject.Quote

Nothing to do with hate.
It all started on the 75/76 tour. Mick finally had a "victim" to clown around with.He likes that and Keith and Mick T. had just not been the right partners for such on-stage games. But with Ronnie he could really get started.
In 76 Mick was fooling ( and singing . .) with Ronnie all over the place.
I remember in 76 having had the impression of Keith being a bit offside because Mick and the new boy were so wired and close.
Maybe even their kind of drugs had a share too.Mick and Ron mostly coke. Keith stoned from opiates.
However I think the Mick/Ron activities were most strongly in 76.
In 78 Keith was revitalised and the whole stage act was more balanced again.

Do you not remember the SNL show when Mick and Ronnie shared tongues?
Mick has always messed around with Ronnie from that example to kidding him about playing the slide guitar or the steel guitar and/or whatever contraption he played on Far Away Eyes....
Reading too much into it.
