Concerning 'Moscovitch' with no 's' and a 't': that's the English spelling of the same, Russion, name, and is very uncommon outside US and UK if it even exists at all. There's only half a dozen Moscovitch's alive. 'Moszcovitch' with a 'z' and no 't' is a misspelling, and does not exist as such.

Moskovich, Moskovitch, Moskowich, Moskowicz, Moszkowicz, have seen it spelled many ways. My father was born in Eastern Europe btw .

Mathijs,You are right about Anglicized the name but I would be surprised if "less than "half a dozen Moscovitch's alive"
There are at least 2 "Moscovitch's" in France and I would be surprised if there were no others still alive out side the US & UK .
