Hyde Park 2013: Charlie is good tonight!

Hi all,
the driving drumming, the quality of the mix, the sound of the bass drum, cymbals and snare drum is something perfect.

This man really rocks and his drum set is just perfect.
Does anyone knows some technical deep info about Charlie's kit?

The first thing I noticed when listening to the album was the drums. I agree, the sound is really good. Charlie is always very steady, but this mix really serves his drumming right spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Love the sound of the guitars too (especially SFM) but that's for another thread... winking smiley

Charlie bombed on the HP pair of shows! if you listen to a rather quiet song, like GS, both in the official ITunes as well as on Youtube clips, you can hear his remarkable work all along the way! (actually the HP#2 GS version seem to be a result of great performance but also a very good rehearsing. RW and KR do both a great job in the "buildup" of peaks this song is so typical with, and which are absent from many other live versions!)
