When they cut their first Lp it was not only something new, it was just from another planet , that sound was just either awful for most of the people or just @#$%& awesome for some nut like me . I didn't recall a band in 1977-1978 which did somethin' like Devo .There was indeed some great ones, but none like Devo, they were unique. R.I.P
