A bit of historical note: The image was shot by Keith's Blind Angel.

I don't understand. Could you elaborate on this please?

I've always assumed that the "Blind Angel" was literally blind.

I suppose he/she could be "legally blind," just barely able to take a snapshot from close range.

Actually quite well beyond legally blind, yet able to distinquish form.
The two prints she gave me of her work in '79 are most amazing.
And highly treasured.

Just as amazing was the blind print collector I hung with in N.J. late in '76, he would spend some ten or fifteen minutes with a high powered magnifying glass before deciding on a print. Only had 10% of normal vision !!!!!

When did he bust up his beak? I thought he passed out into the amp in 1979.

ahhh - it's one of Rita's shots? and i gather she gave it to you in or after 79.
so: are you sure it's not from 78? Keith was of course in Toronto for court stuff in 78,
and i'd say 78 is at least as good a candidate as 77, going by the details in the photo -
but you didn't give 78 as an option :E

Another vote for 78. He looks healthy so it cannot be 77...

I suppose he/she could be "legally blind," just barely able to take a snapshot from close range.

Consider the following:

1. A person with 20/20 vision.
2. This person runs from daylight into an underground, dimly lit structure.
3. The "moment" presents itself within seconds of arrival.
4. A fixed focus, automatic flash "point and shoot" is brought up to eye level and the button clicked. ( Zero control of subject, lighting, composition or anything that rationally appliesto good images.)

Those were the conditions when this was shot on 4/23/79:

Which photographer was shooting blind ??

First thought is that it looks like 1977 but also 1978 when they played with Muddy Waters.
