I've always assumed that the "Blind Angel" was literally blind.

Actually quite well beyond legally blind, yet able to distinquish form.
The two prints she gave me of her work in '79 are most amazing.
And highly treasured.

I suppose he/she could be "legally blind," just barely able to take a snapshot from close range.
