One tip for posting your tube videos....

sometimes it is goofy and wont work... and other times,
all it takes is manually dropping/deleting the "s" off
of the https in copy/paste link address.

Well, Disco is clearly not welcome in the Toronto thread - but at least it got a bit of publicity for a post that deserved a second look!

Cute stuff...although I do have some trouble believing that it is really the bird's voice.

I had a budgie, Jack Benny, couldn't get the grouchy guy to say anything.

Maybe I wasn't playing the right tunes for him.

It's real, alright. Talking parakeets are rare, but they do exist. If you want a bird that talks, though, your best bet is an African Grey parrot.

These birds honestly have me laughing out loud today... so funny!

I was around a talking parrot once, and good grief that thing could
get freaky. It would raise all sorts of hell late at night, and etc...

I have considered having one, but I never could get over the issue
that these bird can live to be 70-100 years old. They would out live me...
then again, on other hand, dogs and cats live only 10-15 years, and then they
die, which is sad, so which is a better option? Heck I dont know.... probably
watching them on youtube..... and then not having to feed or listen to them anymore winking smiley
