i bought it off itunes and it sounded fine to me.
All the copies are sped-up, but the PAL-versions even more.
The sound is bad in the film, so there isn't anything wrong with your copy, I presume...
Yep - every version of it I've ever seen (including the version called Rocks Off)
was sped up, out of synch and clumsily edited. We expect more nowadays, but back then it was primo stuff.

Do you have a PAL version? I think there may be a timing issue due to the lazy conversion from NTSC. (50Hz vs. 60Hz).

The sound on the LSTNT film was always a disappointment. An official DVD release of Hampton is rumoured - let's wait for that one instead.
I wouldn't mind a Leeds ยด82 DVD release either. LSTNT was a mess to begin with.
