OT: Comic Relief

Even though I know that OT topics should be kpt to a minimum, I thought with some of the heated debate here of late we could use some comic relief. here is Art Garfunkel pompously ruminating between vocal takes in the studio. This is hilarious. "Distaste for the song is what I feel". "I hate it, but I know I love it". Hah!

That cracked me up. I've never actually heard him speak, only sing. Is he always like that or was he high or something? He has to be on something, there's no way he could have made it this far in life by running his mouth all the time without saying anything.

And S&G fans wonder why Paul hasn't made an album with this guy in 43 years.

Hello, I'm Art Garfunkel.

You know, I used to look like Larry Fine....

....but now I look like Johnny Rotten....

....how did I go from funny- to angry-looking?

Here's another great one: Drunk Murry Wilson (Beach Boys dad) tries to "produce" Help Me Rhonda session.

Ha ha! You are correct, sir! I was just thinking of re-posting the Casey Kasem bit in this thread. The dark side of that iconic sunny voice. It's like Colonel Sanders turning into Satan, absolutely classic!

But this the slightly longer version that I posted--the definitive edition!

Even better, here's a five-minute version of Casey swearing up a storm.

William Shatner has had his moments in the studio as well--here he is giving a good dressing down to a young producer trying to tell him how to do a voice-over. As played on The Howard Stern Radio Show.
