The punks have always seemed more age conscious than the plain rock musicians/performers. HR makes a big deal about turning 50, whereas The Stones just seemed to cruise quite easily through their fifties.
It must be harder aging as a punk rocker, because they don't allow themselves the variations in mood with ballads or reflective numbers. It's always pedal to the metal, I'm always angry and/or worked up, etc. What will the Sex Pistols look and perform like when they are 70?
