Mightnt make much of a dent in ticket sales, but shes the best opening act theyve announced on this tour to date. Friggin' superb guitarist too.

I am starting to think the early start time has nothing to do with an opening act. I would be positively elated to get out of there by 9 or 9:30. Might even catch another show somewhere else.

Bonnie Raitt is a good choice, but she's not the best on this tour. Remember that No. Cal has had Metallica and is getting Van Morrison.

My first Stones concert in Seattle 10/15/81 started at 3 or 3:30. The Stones went on around 6pm and the show was over by shortly after 8pm. I actually don't want the stones to go on til 9pm or later, as I am planning to go to the USC game that day and be able to see at least the first half and hopefully more of the game before darting out of there over to Dodger Stadium. The game starts at 5pm at the Coliseum.

One possible reason to do an early show would be to get out of LA and fly to Honolulu before the LA/Burbank airport noise restrictions kick in.

Bonnie is one of the most respectable opening acts in YEARS. With exception of a few great acts here and there, Metallica, Motley Crue, most notably, they've had one zero after another on this tour.
