Sadly this great British actor has passed away at the age of 79.

I loved him in Ever Decreasing Circles; now, that was a dark sitcom.

A great actor who will always be remembered for "The Good Life".

He had a role in the film "Cockneys Versus Zombies" which may have been his last acting job. He seemed to be enjoying it immensely.

He was in Dr Who as well but the less said about that the better. Still he was a fine actor and will be missed.

Ah, yes! The episode in the church! That was a definite childhood favourite of mine.
