Funny, what a Flashback. The last video with Wyman, I did not see it in 22 years.

Amazing how distant that era looks from 2013.

I've always preferred "Sex Drive" to the clumsy topicality--the clumsy everything, really--of "Highwire."

Flashback indeed. Very nice though. Thanks for posting

Minor song with little variation to it.

Great video, thanks.

I remember on Jagger's 50th birthday he went on MTV Europe and went through some of his favorite videos which I remember being The Chili Peppers Give it Away, Aerosmith/Run DMC, ZZ Top's Rough Boy, and Motley Crue's Girls Girls Girls. Haven't been able to find it anywhere though.

Charlie looks older in 1991 than he does in 2013.

You can just say '@#$%& blues' and '@#$%&' on UK TV?

One of the more boring tunes they've ever done. I'll take Highwire 10 times over.

Cool, tough song. The offering of Sex Drive and Highwire were a terrific combo.

A great, funky little track - fantastically recorded. A bit polished, but heck, I like it!

I liked both a lot: Sexdrive + Highwire
Now we have D&G + OMS. a nice pair too

Terrible Mick vocal.

Very "Wandering Spirit-ish" vocals from Mick.

Two tired and generic stones songs. One a generic rocker, the other a plastic soul/funk work out, both sink from the weight of the terrible production and tedious lyrics.

The problem with sex drive is that it falls into the category of "funk music". Now, I don't think that Sex Drive would work (to be kind) in a JB, P-Funk, Meters etc comp ... BUT if you see it as whatever music, a la Shattered, if you don't mind if the ONE is not there, if you don't mind that Jagger sings it his own way and not as the Godfather would, well, its actually good music!

I like Jagger's singing on both these tunes, and Keith's guitar work on Sex Drive is nothing but fantastic!

I do too. And I'll tell you more: I even like Jugular.

That said, if I produced those two cuts, I would have asked Jagger to sing like he sang Devil on love you live. Just for the sake of curiosity. I think it would have worked better.

After years of listening to the radio and long edits of SEXDRIVE, I had Flashpoint on the other night. The album version is far and away the best, primarily because of the horn arrangements

i liked sexdrive and highwire better than Doom and One More shot.
Still, would be nice if they play the 4 songs in Amsterdam in June

I hadn't listened to it in a while.. just played it.

I still hate it.

The way Mick says "drive"... can he get any more nasal?

Shocking piece of music.

The backing is a poor James Brown.

I won't be playing that one again.

An annoying boring James Brown imitation, one of the worst songs ever written by MJ/KR without any sex drive. A previous version of another Peter-Pan-projects by MJ like Superheavy.

The little pause where Keith plays the blues lick? GREAT SOUND! Tone, whatever you want to call it. Best part of the song.

life is so short. time is so precious. it's important that the decisions we make in our brief time on this planet comport with an understanding of what's good and noble. i congratulate you on your decision, even with the recognition that you had to waste five minutes you can never recover.

if there could have just been nothing but five minutes of pause, it would have improved the song dramatically....

write songs and shoot videos - is Peter Pan project? I wonder what you consider is wise projects of serious grown-up people? to sit in your garden and fart or spend two years with ghost writer dictating deceitful tabloid books which almost ruined your band? oh,I got it- to portray a pirate in the Disney franchise, that's the right activity for musician!

By the way, Mick in this video looks much better and younger than during Steel Weels tour. how can this be? Apparently Carla Bruni did something with his sex drive
I liked how Keith said to Mick, when he was lying on the couch - "Mick, relax". and Mick laughed
