Threads like this remind me of high school BS, which is precisely why I vote for Mitch because he wasn't afraid to be himself, no matter the response he was getting from people here. His views on The Stones gave everyone something to talk about. He was fun to argue with at times. Whoever Mitch is (Stones fan? Fleet Street journalist? Mick Taylor?) he wasn't afraid to have a different view, and that's good.

That's what I like. Not trying to be the smart guy only.
The Rolling Stones are about humour, entertainment, sex drugs and R&R. Rooted on rhythm and blues..once the best in the world, with some "sidesteps" to different styles.
I don't care if they get Frankenstein or Quasimodo on vocals or guitar.

Ears come first when it comes to music.

Anyone who thinks different is a bit naive imo.

I apologize because I hijacked your thread yesterday evening in order to have fun with my Dutch " friends" .Hope you don't mind too much because sometimes it's nice "breaking bad "

I just want to add that I read Tele71 and Matjis ' posts very often and try to learn more about guitars and music from their posts .Pity it's hard for me most of the time to get the technical stuff-because of the langage that isn't mine- but I think these two men deserve to be quoted as well .
