Loved the Voodoo lounge show I saw in Toronto. Much much better than Steel Wheels. They played with an edge. Darryl's playing was great.

Thanks !
I got the official VHS sold at european venues somewhere

Your title is kinda misleading, I thought the complete SHOW surfaced, but it's "only" the complete video.

Great tour: saw them at Wembley in 95. I got right up front, and my hearing hasn't been the same since.

Not a huge fan of the Voodoo Lounge tour. Although it was far less slick sounding than the Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tours, something about the sound always bugs me.

The guitars sound like they have some kind of Chorus effect on them and the drums sound is kinda ugly.

Maybe it was the PA they were using in the Stadiums that gave them a sound I didn't care for. Anyone else have this issue with the Voodoo Lounge Tour?

When they hit the clubs in 1995 they played some of my favourite later day Stones shows. For these, the Guitars and Drums sounded just right!

I would love a Four Flicks style DVD/Bluray set of the 4 club shows (Brixton, Paris, Amsterdam x2). That would be an incredible release.

I did not like th VL tour for the most part sans the club shows, and even those Micks voice is terrible. This show from NJ isnt particularly good either. Micks vocals are what killed this tour for me. Use his vocals from '89 or '97 and apply them to this tour and we've got a winner.

Keith's playing was better during the SW/UJ-tours as well, imo. I agree about Mick. However, the setlists on VL were great.

I liked the VL show. NFA was an inspired choice as an opener.

There's a complete Tokyo Show that was released back in the 90's. I think I have it on video and there was also a laser disc. The performance itself is a little "professional", and the show suffers from being at Tokyo Dome, where the audience is literally 10 rows from the stage. But, as a document of the tour, it's a pretty good one. I would think you can find this on DVD from footleggers.

I saw two shows. The opener at RFK and Ames, Iowa. The RFK show was the best Stones concert I've seen. Maybe the best live show period. Ames was pretty good too.

Great show! Thanks for posting. I think it was a great tour all around.

We think of it as a modern era tour but look how young they all are! Mick doesn't look too different than today but boy...Keith looks way younger, check out Chuck with NO grey hair.

How about Ms Lisa!?! What a knockout she was...tight little body. Kinda sad how she has fallen.

I have lost count of the number of times I have watched that show, which I have on video cassette. Loved it!

I agree - although his performances were still of a high standard throughout. Would you say this tour represented the beginning of his decline? The faculties wearing through age and the condition on his fingers? I always felt the Bridges To Babylon Tour were when the slide in form became apparent, but...

Woody was nailing the solo for Tumbling Dice on that tour.

This is the tour where Mick forgot to, you know, smile, have fun, smile, enjoy the songs and music, smile... and actually f---ing sing.

No, because - like you said - he still performed at a high level.

The first signs of a detoriatiion, imo, was during the No Security-tour.

It became evident that Keith wanted to play just as much as he did on previous tour, but it didn't really cut it. Listening to Some Girls from Shepherd's Bush, for instance, is not a pleasure.

By Licks, the decline was more than evident, both rhythm and lead-wise.

On the SW/UJ-tours he was on top of the game, playing things he never did before, different rhythm patterns and fast and piercing leads.

Out Of Tears is great on this. Too bad they never released a official live version of this on record.
