#4. Do You Think I Really Care
#5. Following The River
#6. Don't Be A Stranger
#7. No Spare Parts
#8. Pass The Wine
#9. I'm Not Signifying
#10.So Devine

B-b-b-b-but.... these have all been released already. Don't you want a new album? The list you've presented here is just Disc 6 of the Extra Super Deluxe Bonus Etc. version of GRRR!

Don't know why they threw such great material on bonus discs when they could have pooled them together and created a true classic. I have done my own compilation in the order listed and it beats the crap out of Exile!

Can you imagine how great it would be if they built a tour around the bulk of these songs? I am getting goose bumps just thinking about it.

I can't speak for JJL but I think he's going for 2010-2012 only?
If so.... hmmm....

CERTAINLY better than A Bigger Bang!

I honestly think this compilation beats the crap out of Exile. Give it a whirl.

Well I think you're trippin' JumpinJackOLantern. It is a decent alt playlist but not a very good setlist, imho. peace

It's nothing. Certainly not better than Exile. Anyone with any sense knows that.

Where's 'So Young', the nastiest, sleaziest Stones release in 30 odd?

Tele, sometimes I think you need to take a reading comprehension class. No, what I said was this compilation of songs I have listed beats the crap out of Exile. My opinion.

Sorry, but I respectfully disagree. I love every song that I have listed here. I can't say that I love every song on Exile.

I think it beats the crap out of Exile. The critics didn't think much of Exile when it was released. The Stones didn't think that much of it either. Years later someone declares it a classic and suddenly everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Not saying Exile isn't an excellent album, just that I would much prefer listening to my compilation. To each his own though.

Sure. There are a bunch of songs in there I'd love to hear live (or on PPV!) lol

I am wishing now they hadn't released them as bonus tracks and put them all on one album in pretty much the order I have listed them. If they had done that we would have been celebrating one last classic Stones album that would compare with anything they have ever done. On the other hand, if they can go into the studio and produce songs as good as these then we are in for a real treat.

Yes of course I want an album of all-new Stones songs, but, to reference the other thread, unfortunately I believe the likelihood of that ever happening again is a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10.

That crazy dual-piano version of "So Young" that was released as a bonus track on the Japan release of Some Girls is ^&*%#$! amazing.

I know. Much of your list is outtakes from Exile, and you said this "album" would be "better than Exile"...oh never mind.

Watchman,(sorry woman!) Come on, shows how little you know about music if you honestly believe this. Critics didnt like it on its release because Exile was ahead of its time!

literally think only plundered my soul would be good enough to make it on to the original exile.

What a fantastic idea. Gather a collection of songs recorded over a period of about 40 years , cunningly pass it off as an 'album' (its ok, no one will notice that you're short on fresh ideas even though it was recorded with different personnel and tenuous musical continuity) and do a tour behind it. eye rolling smiley

Oh wait, theyve already done that. In 2002 and again in 2012.

And in 1981, perhaps.

They've missed a good chance with the Rarities compilation of a couple of years ago.
But I think we can all come up with a great set of unreleased outtakes that would make
a fine follow up for Tattoo You.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

I have to wonder if those who put together these make-believe albums are the same ones who decry the suggestion that the U.S. London releases of Aftermath and Between the Buttons are superior to the U.K. Decca ones.
