OT: Question The Quiet Night Club Chicago

Hi Stonesfans,

I read on the website Time Is On Our Side that the Stones jammed with Muddy Waters and Wille Dixon back in 1978 in a Chicago club called "The Quiet Night". I was wondering if this club still exists? I couldn't find it on the internet. Maybe the name of the venue has changed? Hope someone can help me out.

The Quiet Night is long gone... I was there for a show back in the mid-70's, but for the life of me can't remember who we saw smiling smiley!!!

Yes the Quiet Knight is gone. Lots a great acts played there over the years. Yes indeed, The Stones showed up after their 78 show and played with Muddy. It was so hot that day I didn't even think to go over there after the Soldier Field gig, but it was easy to think the boys would be there that night as they had played in the afternoon. The club at that time was over on Belmont by the El tracks.
