What if they don't "Deliver" on the 25th..
Posted by: ROPENI ()

Just wondering,as of now tickets sales for all shows are way below expectations, but if they don't deliver the goods on the 25th,and word gets around about a sub par performance, will they cancel some of the other shows(maybe Brooklyn)we'll see what happens..

I expect riots.

Lots of dead zombies too.

It will be terrible.

Like a Stephen King novel.

Cancel? And pay back all those £££$$$? I think not

And they didn't cancel after the bizarre Philadelphia 1981 performances, and they didn't cancel the ABB 2007 tour, so....

I hear you Erik, but if they were to cancel the Brooklyn show, which it seems is no selling at all, they won't have to refund much money,or maybe they could exchange for the the other two shows in Jersey..But yes it will not happen...

Hey.. just drop the prices... the tickets will sell.

It's called economics.

Ask Mick.

And admit failure? No way, their egos won't allow for such a common sense approach....

bingo. if you didn't think the last tour was subpar, you just don't get it. but the word either didn't get around or it didn't matter.

I don't think so. I've been following this obsessively for weeks, checking TM and all the secondary sites several times a day and it has now reached a point where very little is available, for decent seats anyway. There may be people having trouble offloading crap seats for face value but from the Stones point of view those seats have been sold anyway. I am speaking about the London shows here. I'm not following the NY shows but they couldn't be so stupid as to add a third if the first two hadn't sold well. Could they?

Isn't the Barclay's the "third show" disaster?

if they don't deliver, I think pickup is a valid option.

I think the expectancy level will be very low. If they deliver something close to a standard 2007 show people will be more than happy. I guess...

After Werchter and Frankfurt 2007 they kept on touring for two more months. Do not expect any cancellations.

Depends on what you mean by deliver. Hard core fans might have stricter standards than those who just want to see the Stones and hear competent versions of their hits.

I tried reading this thread but I couldnt get past the part about dead zombies. I mean arent zombies dead? so it is redundant t osay dead, or are they undead, or are they just zombies, and it is not required to say dead zombies, just zombies, unless there are alive zombies, aand if you killed those zombies would they then be dead? and that further brings up why Mick only shot up a horde of zombies withut really saying if they were dead zombies or alive or wether he even killed anyof them.

If Brian Jones were resurrected and joined them on stage, some here would still find fault. "Brian's slide guitar on I WANNA BE YOUR MAN was better on the record."

You just don't know enough about zombies.

Admit it.

Some of my best friends are zombies.

Should be pay as you exit. You like the show, you pay as you leave the venue.

OK, I will (begrudgingly) admit it.... BUT IT NOT MY FAULT!!!

I tried, I did my part, I wanted to learn more, hang out with them,
see how they do things but ONE) THEY SMELL!!! REALLY REALLY BAD
TWO) They are ALWAYS hungry, ALWAYS eating people I would bring over,
always trying take a bite out of me... sheeesh that gets old fast.
THREE) They mumble worse than Keith... it is basically impossible
to carry on a conversation... I am not sure if they are stupid or just dumb.

Way to think positive.
They're professional musicians with 50 years experience.
They'll rock the house down. Rehearsals are going great they say.
They've got MT and BW, too.
Give them a little bit of credit...
