In Search Of The Lost Chord is great. One of those albums that sounded fantastic on acid back in the day.

Denny Laine singing "Go Now" is nice, too. Good job on Wings Over America.

Glad to see this thread.

Moody Blues are coming to my town in April.

Anyone seen them live lately? Is it worth to go?

They played most of In Search Of The Lost Chord on a great British TV show on BBC2 in the late 60s called Colour Me Pop. Here's a clip from it.

Great use of mellotron and I know there's a lot of you that dig the mellotron.

I saw them about 2 years ago. Fun show. I'd say it's worth it.

Ray Thomas does not tour with them anymore I believe, but most folks have said the shows have been good anyway. I saw them a couple times in the 80's and loved it. I've always been a big fan, not so much of the post 70's material, but everything from '67 to '72 was pretty monumental for me. And I enjoy a smattering of their late 70's/80's material as well. Have fun!

Justin Hayward is probably the most underated guitarist, singer songwriter of modern times. The Moody Blues should of been in The R and R hall of fame just on the merit of the first "core seven" albums alone. Great music.

I don't think Keith thinks too much of them.

If you're the sort of person who thinks a rock and roll band ought to work hard enough to at least break sweat, no.

My posts are no more "negative" (I prefer to think of them as cynical, with a sense of humor) than they've always been.

They are in my top 10 of my Must-Have-Seen-In-Concert-List. I really hope, that I can see them live in concert, before I die.
