This board needs a new impulse

This board needs a new impulse............................what's up?

Ok, I know I'm hanging around here for a couple of years..............and I think most most of the Stones stuff is discussed a hundred times before.

What didn't we discussed? or should I take a break..........?

There is still one thing I want to add ..combine all the Multi Track recordings threads in to one and add some more songs...I just downloaded 6.4 Gig of songs and want to upload them.

Hey, Nicos.

I know what you mean.
I've been using the "mark all messages read" button more than ever lately.

If you do take a break, don't stay gone long!

I think you're suffering from a winter depression, Nico. Have a hibernation and come back in spring, fresh and kicking like a new born baby.

The political OT-threads are refreshing to me, but they are always very short-lived!

What about some explicit photographic material?

I never use it and I guess I miss some interesting threads like the Scott Cantrell' one .

Where is this "mark all messages read " button ?

At the bottom of the list of threads, just above the list of online users.

I agreed NICOS, either the threads had already been discussed many times either they are a pain.
If Bv once a week only want to remove :

the really OT Threads,
the what if Threads,
the what is the color of the hair of Mick in 1966 Threads,
the Mick TAYLOR vs Ron WOOD Threads,
The beginning of the end of the beginning of the end of the next tour thread

it could be better winking smiley

The best choice is a break. I'm really fed up with that kind of post, but IOMO (IT'S ONLY MY OPINION) and I keep on readin' the ones I like (not so much in fact)

HMN

Directly above "Online Users" look for:

Current Page: 1 of 1806
Options: Mark All Messages Read

Click on "Mark All Messages Read" and it deletes the red "new" by each thread with a new post.

It would be easier if I lived on the other side of the French quarter ,I would just bring my computer with me winking smiley....

If I click on "mark all messages read" I don't have any messages marked in red.
Funny thing is that if I logged out and then log in again, all the threads are marked "new" in red.confused smiley

Thanks for your answer, don't want to bother you again with it,I'll ask bv .smiling smiley

I don´t see it as well Edith,

Oh yeah, I forgot there are different formats available to use.
I'm using the original/classic layout for the message board.

Well, someone started a thread on Assange - and that was nipped in the bud.
Too bad, even when it gets nasty, I always find the politically-charged threads on any board refreshing and healthy, especially with such an international representation here.

I have made the same observation, Kleermaker. Especially the right-wing Americans seems to be very single-minded. You always end up in this (false) dichotomy between "liberals and conservatives" - which is strictly an American discourse, not valid here in Europe.

Yep Nicos, agreed. I think after all the remastered albums (CD's I mean!), the DVD releases....enjoyable they are.....and Keith's biography (good, not great), and with allllll of our collective anticipation for an announcement or meeting or the second coming.....we all are restless. I'm a newbie to the board but an oldie to the 'Stones. We crave an event, a sign that all is right in our universe.....and then we will 'rock the board with our love! The time is right. Was this their plan all along, lol?

Me too, but the Americans ruin it all the time. Too hotheaded as for politics. Must be their recent history full of fear, violence and anger.
Offensive much?????
