Does anyone know if Lisa Fisher will be in the band at the O2 or Newark shows?

Yeah it looks like they're cutting down on costs with Mick singing the female part on GS at the latest rehearsals!

She will probably join them later.

Your definition of 'fat' is a bit off.

She did a great job on stuff like Gimme Shelter... BUT it is still incredibly weird to see someone smiling and singing about a black slave girl sleeping with her master. All done with a little Broadway shimmy dance.

So many songs are completely inappropriate to smile on.

I have nothing against Lisa or any other backing musicians or singers, but I would much prefer it if they just kept it stripped down and simple.

Where's Lisa ?

On a diet I'd imagine

Watch out, any remark about her weight will be removed!

I hope they'll do 'Hamburger to Go' in London though.

They did GS very well in the 70'ies without a female singer.
Why a stripped down version of Stones not without her, Blondie and the horn section?
The five of them with Chuck and Bobby and apparently Bernard would be perfect.

Can't Chuck do the female part on his keyboard?

She is staying home because paying 4 backup musicians out of a $16 million pot for 4 shows, is cheaper than paying for 9 backup musicians out of a $16 million pot for 4 shows.

Not necessarily.

If the 9 backing singers were the Worzels, Chas and Dave and two dinner ladies I think the expense would be reasonable.

If they do Gimme Shelter, I hope it will be without Lisa (or will be done with her but not like before). The song often ended as a shouting competition between her an Mick, that ruined the song for me.

I have a feeling, she won't be there this time. When the Stones Twitter suggested to follow the "touring band" some time ago, Lisa was not among these members, and they didn't mention "Miss F." when they enumerated who will be there in concert on November and December (as a game with the song "Dancing with Mr. D", they listed Mr. J, Mr. R., Mr. W and Mr. W. and so on) some time ago.
