Have to agree with this, I always think as the Stones as equal to the Beatles now so number 2 would be Pink floyd with Led Zepplin as equal 2nd, is that cheating having 4 bands?

The Beatles were always my no.1 until I discovered the Rolling Stones. In fact, if it were not for the Beatles, I probably wouldn't be a Stones fan now. Naturally, the Beatles are now my no.2!

My Number 3's include: The Black Crowes, Wolfman Washington & The Roadmasters, Magic Slim & The Teardrops, The J Geils Band, Little Feat, Ike & Tina Turner Revue, Ray Charles, Dumpstaphunk, Mingo Fishtrap, Chris Daniels & The Kings, Southside Johnny & The Jukes, John Hammond, Taj Mahal, Roomful of Blues.
The first 4 on that list might be a bit ahead of the others but it's debatable at any moment who is actually number 3.

Not sure what my order is for faves. I love AC/DC, The Cult, Queens Of The Stone Age, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone, Morning 40 Federation, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Drive-By Truckers, U2, The Doors and a few solo artists and probably some other bands.

I would rather mention songs than bands.
I prefer to listen to music, not to watch it.
Kate Bush was one of the few exceptions to me: good songs, good performing, no "posing."
Her way of acting emphasizes her music, not disguising being incompetent, or taking yourself too serious while messing up.
Nothing beats a good improvisation though, sax, guitar, hammond ...doesn't matter.
The Stones where the ideal mix during a certain era.
