Suggestions for downsizing Rolling Stones Inc.

In hard economic times, companies are known to downsize, cut down on overhead, issue job cuts, restrict pay and benefits. Since Rolling Stones Inc., courtesy of Virgin, are "puttin' on the ritz" in the midst of a Great Recession and are thus ignoring the limited means of the vast majority of their fans, suggestions are welcome as to how the Stones Corporation can be downsized to make it more affordable for all of their fans. This may include less people on stage, less people involved in the building of a less elaborate stage, less overhead across the board. How many here would pay a reasonable price (nothing over $100) to see a stripped down no frills type show like they put on back in the Some Girls/Tattoo You era--how many would pay to hear music played by a core group of musicians, even if in a stadium but without the circus?

In terms of a 'no frills' tour, jettisoning Keith seems the obvious solution.

Unfortunately, you're left with the MJ solo tour.

I am in complete agreement with the sentiment of the OP. Boy would it be great to see a back to basics tour.

My how time flies...I gave my thoughts about this sometime ago - January! Here's what I wrote for those interested:
