What's been the easiest and hardest country for The Stones to tour in and why?

Yeah - getting across the Hindu Kush and Tora Bora was never easy for the troubadours of yore, just from a geographical point of view. But nowadays it's even worse as those Taliban punters can get a little trigger happy if they don't get to hear all the war horses.

US is easiest.
Saudi Arabia would be one of the hardest (along with Afghanistan, Pakistan...)

USA is easier from a logistical standpoint (currency, language, customs, taxation etc). Europe is more difficult for the same reason. If you take contries ouside those two continents you can add more difficulties on the list.

The ones where they play only one show would be pretty easy, I would imagine.

Big Question is: will they ever tour again????????????????
I know Jagger stated in July he would love to do some gigs....
For now, there is still No announcement made !!!!

I think Sweden used to be the hardest to tour in when it comes to the customs authorities.

England is the hardest because of the taxes (remember 1998?). US is pretty hard too because of the security and the market.

A tour of France is pretty hard on the ass and legs

Didn't Beatles had to 'Run for their lifes' visiting Fillipines in the 60ies?...Things haven't cleared out yet over there I've been reading lately...

The Netherlands have many fans, as have the US, Latin America and Germany. As far as I know the Stones are not as big in Italy. Think of Rome in 2007.
