This was sent to me (it may have appeared on another Stones site)

When I first reported on "The Rolling Stones Thanksgiving Banquet," a one-hour special that will be on U.S. radio, radio stations were still being lined up to air the special. Now several radio stations have been confirmed.
Eagle Rock Entertainment and Denny Somach Productions are presenting "The Rolling Stones Thanksgiving Banquet," which most participating radio stations will air over this year’s Thanksgiving weekend (November 25 to November 27, 2010). The commercial-free, one-hour special will include live music from the Stones' 1972 tour, recent interviews and classic archival material. Much of the live music has previously never been part of a radio broadcast.
Here is the list of radio stations and air dates/times confirmed for "The Rolling Stones Thanksgiving Banquet," as of November 12, 2010. (This information is subject to change. Updates will be added as they are confirmed.) All times listed are for each city's local time zone.

The reference to archival material suggests it might go beyond L&G and the 2d Exile disc. Is anyone able to tape this live? I don't know whether any of these stations will broadcast over the Internet.

Holy Sh*t - This could be good! Have to see if my old Tape Player works, I don't have a good way to record radio these days. Or - maybe this is just tracks from Ladies & Gentlemen?

Hopefully a high bit rate digital recording is made available for the rest of us.

With so many stations airing it, I'm sure there will surface several lossless digital recordings on torrent sites. Either way, I hope as many people as possible record it. Though as hardcore fans, we shouldn't except too much that we haven't already heard in good quality. Still, it's cool that more people get to hear some live Stones from their prime.

Yep " in their prime" I agree. Those really were the good days even if they were on occasions, shall we say, a trifle unpredictable. On form they were indeed "The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World"

Someone will record it somehow! Could be another fantastic live album. If only the Stones would actually release this stuff officially then we'd all have a chance at having some of their best playing on record.

Very cool. Continuous streaming on the websites means many opportunities to hear it. Great way to rock through Thanksgiving weekend.

"Recent interviews and classic archival material" -that could probably be about half of the one hour program. When it says "Much of the live music has previously never been part of a radio broadcast", it also says that some of it has. For those of us that already have all the soundboard recordings that are available from this tour, I guess there's few chances of any surprices. Still if there are, there will always be the question about sound quality. Will it be mixed and produced by Andy/Glyn? Well one can always hope. I'll be happy with a rocking version of Brown Sugar fron '72 in perfect sound...
