Yes I read this in a newspaper yesterday (his book is number 1 this week in France in its category), but without details, except today he will do an interview on the radio RTL, but I don't know at what time

Hier dans le Parisien il y avait un petit article disant que son livre était déjà n° 1 des ventes en France dans sa catégorie, qu'il serait à Paris pour 2 jours pour la promo, dont une interview sur RTL lundi, je ne sais pas dans quelle émission.

I'd bet on the evening thing with Georges Lang (about Rock etc.) rather than the others. Je parierais plutôt pour l'émission du soir (consacrée aux légendes du rock) plutôt que les Pradel, Zemour, Gerra, Foucault, Courbet et autres Bouvard ! ><

I can't understand that even on the radio website there is no advert about it. We have to keep an eye on the TV news as well.

On Oct 27th, they finished shooting the movie in London. October 28th: The first round of London promo interviews. On the 29th - New York Public Library. On the third, there was the booksigning at Waterstones in London, then he did promo interviews in London on the 4th.
On the 8th and 9th he's doing promo interviews in Paris.
If something interresting should occur while we're in Paris for the promo, I'll post here once I hear of it.

Well,I think that a public appearance from Keith in Paris wouldn't be as "successful " than it was in London or NY .There is ,imo, a huge difference because French people aren't "enthousiast" compared,for instance,to the Americans .

Mick's appearance in Cannes this May was hugely successful. Why do you think it wouldn't be the same with Keith? Or France is more Jagger's place?

I did not hear the RTL interview, but did catch this morning the one he made these days at another radio Europe 1. Otherwise, Keith had some nice coverage on major newspapers ( daily or weekly).

Unfortunately,we always have the same stupid overdubbed translation here in France when it comes to interviews.I am so fed up with that.You can understand neither what Keith is saying in English,nor what the journalist is saying in French .

I think that yes, french would be more enthousiatic with Jagger than with Keith.But I could be mistaken ,it would be interesting to hear what French people think about it.

I heard the news last night on RTL around 6:15 p.m. and there was an little interview from Keith Richards. Overdubbed, of course.
He said he thought that on next year, there would be a new album and a tour, if Mick wanted it.
After that, a french singer named Massi (or something like that), said that Otis Redding was the first singer of Satisfaction. What a shame.

I have not forgotten the lesson. I quoted. This a french radio and it's normal that an english interview is translated. A lot of people can't unterstand english spoken. If it was on TV, OK we could get subtitles but on a radio, be serious. There is so many interviews from england to pleased you. If you love a german person, are you able to understand him on radio.
